Energy efficiency: Siemens launches a centre of excellence in France

Siemens recently announced the planned launch on May 1 of a centre of excellence for energy efficiency in France.  It will be a combination dedicated website and call centre, with the aim of helping manufacturers in their efforts to improve their energy efficiency.  While customers have the product catalogue on energy efficient products, the company found that it was not enough. Because only large companies are willing to invest in an audit of all procedures necessary for energy optimisation, this centre of excellence will provide documentation and tools to conduct a self assessment. It will propose ways to identify energy savings and the products and techniques that are appropriate. This is a tiered approach that explains progressive implementation. The call centre consists of four people supported by a team of experts to provide technical and financing advice.

    1. Hi Julia
The article I have refers to “Vincent Jauneau, le nouveau directeur du secteur Industry de Siemens France.” That’s all I know but that should be enough to find out more. Let me know if you find out more.
