1. In the electricity sector, a decrease in demand for power proved to be the biggest driver of the decline in emissions.

   Shame so many commentaors still remain unaware that Energy Efficiency First is an entirely valid concept!

2. I would suggest this is because there are so many large commercial interests around which are in business to encourage greater consumption, and so very few who want to see demand management.

   1. You could easily be right about that. One doesn’t see a lot of emphasis on demand management.
