World Sustainable Energy Days 2018 – Young Researchers Conference and Award: Energy Efficiency and Biomass

The World Sustainable Energy Days organisers have announced the upcoming programme for the Young Researchers Conference and Award: Energy Efficiency and Biomass.

Dedicated to the next generation of professionals and experts, the two conference tracks present the work and achievements of young researchers in the fields of biomass and energy efficiency.

The Young Researchers Conference will be held on February 28-March 1, 2018 in the context of the World Sustainable Energy Days 2018 in Wels/Austria. The annual conference brings together more than 700 delegates from over 50 countries from business, public sector and the research community.

Young researchers (born after 1982) are invited to submit contributions by 10 October 2017 on the WSED website. Submissions are welcome from all scientific fields. A high-level scientific committee selects papers for oral and poster presentation. Visit the WSED website for detailed information.

The best conference contributions will be honoured with the awards “Best Young Energy Efficiency Researcher” and “Best Young Biomass Researcher”. The researchers will receive 1,000 Euro each as prize money.
