On September 4 in Hangzhou China, the G20 Head of States endorsed the Energy Efficiency Leading Programme (EELP). The International Partnership for Energy Efficiency Cooperation (IPEEC) was designated as the key coordinating agency to oversee collaborative work under the EELP, in cooperation with other major international organisations.
Mr Benoît Lebot, IPEEC’s Executive Director, added that “IPEEC will ensure a platform for major leading economies under the G20 to coordinate efforts and to promote successful energy efficiency initiatives and cooperation as broadly as possible. ”
