Preparing for the next World Sustainable Energy Days conference, February-March 2013

The next WSED conference will present the work and achievements of young researchers in the field of biomass and in the field of energy efficiency.

It will be held as one of the conferences of the World Sustainable Energy Days 2013 from 27 February – 1 March 2013 in Wels/Austria. With more than 800 participants every year, the World Sustainable Energy Days conference is one of the largest annual conferences on sustainable energy in Europe. In the last 10 years, the conference attracted more than 10,000 participants from over 100 countries!

It will also offer a platform for interaction with experts and decision makers from industry, institutions and research.

A scientific committee of distinguished experts was formed which will select the contributions. Rod Janssen of EiD is a member of the committee.

Young researchers and young professionals are encouraged to submit contributions at www.wsed.at/call by 8 October 2013.

Submissions are invited from any scientific field (e.g. technology & engineering, economic and social sciences, law, arts, etc.).

The organisers will cover the costs for accommodation, meals, participation and local transport for up to 60 selected participants for 3 conference days.
