On October 24th and 25th, the EEIP (Energy Efficiency in Industrial Processes) will hold its bi-annual congress in Berlin in co-operation with Deneff, the GermanBusiness Initiative for Energy Efficiency.
The EEIP Congress 24-25 October brings forth the three main elements of EEIP work: energy recovery, financing and energy management systems. With the focus on industrial waste heat and energy recovery, that has a major potential for improving energy use in manufacturing industries (in particular in several energy intensive sectors), this EEIP event looks at the main problems.
Most recently, it held a Financing panel discussion on ‘Best Practices in Financing Industrial Energy Efficiency’ in April 2012, as part of the events during the world famous Hannover Fair. And in June 2012, it held an event during Sustainable Energy Week in Brussels on ‘Energy and Resource Management in Industry –Technology and People.’
At the upcoming event in Berlin, EiD’s Rod Janssen will moderate two sessions on “Energy recover – the economics” and “Business challenges – from ‘audit’ to ‘access’”.
