I vividly remember during the 1990s, reading a very similar article concerning under- reporting of emissions by those within the fossil fuel industry. Everybody expressed horror. And nobody did anything about it. Will they this time? What do you think?
I remember this in years gone by and, really, no one should be surprised. We do need to be more diligent though. Remember according to NGOs, 636 people are defending coal, oil and gas use at COP27, up 25% from COP26 and bigger than any delegation except the UAE’s. How much influence are they having? And they don’t include the petro-states. It is of big, big concern
