  • EiD welcomes the appointment of three colleagues to new positions.
    • Pernille Schiellerup has replaced Anita Eide has the Director of European Programmes of CLASP (www.clasponline.org).  Most recently Pernille had been with the Institute for European Environmental Policy (IEEP).  Anita has returned to Oslo.
    • Dan Staniaszek has joined the Buildings Performance Institute Europe where he will mainly work on financing and renovation roadmaps, having previously developed the model to underpin renovation scenario analysis to 2050 in the country-by-country study.
    • Renée Bruel leaves NL Agency and the Dutch government to join the European Climate Foundation to work on energy efficiency.
  • Remember to register for the bi-annual congress in Berlin of Energy Efficiency in Industrial Processes (EEIP) in co-operation with Deneff, the GermanBusiness Initiative for Energy Efficiency. The EEIP Congress 24-25 October brings forth the three main elements of EEIP work: energy recovery, financing and energy management systems.   • The Energy Efficient Buildings Association (E2BA) has introduced the first draft of a new Energy-efficient Buildings Research and Innovation Roadmap covering the period 2014-2020.  There is currently a consultation underway, which closes on October 1st.  Information is available at http://www.ectp.org/enewsportal or by contacting the E2BA secretariat at secretariat@e2b-ei.eu.
